AíNGEL is a voice-first AI health companion designed to help mature adults live well at home. It features AiLycia, a friendly AI assistant who provides daily wellness check-ins, medication reminders, companionship, and connection to your care network.
Not at all! AíNGEL is designed for voice-first interaction. Simply speak naturally to AiLycia - no screens, apps, or buttons to navigate. If you can have a conversation, you can use AíNGEL.
Your privacy is our top priority. All data is encrypted and stored in UK data centres. We comply with UK GDPR and NHS data protection standards. You control what information is shared and with whom. We never sell your personal data.
Your voice is your key to AíNGEL, and we treat it with the utmost care. We analyse how your voice sounds – its pitch, tone and rhythm – not the actual words you say. Your voice biometric is encrypted using AES-256 and stored securely in UK data centres under UK GDPR. We never share your voice data with third parties, and it cannot be used to reconstruct your voice or identify you elsewhere. You can delete your voice data at any time from your account settings, and it will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
No. AíNGEL is designed to complement, not replace, professional healthcare. AiLycia can remind you about medications and appointments, but she is not a doctor. Always consult your GP or call NHS 111 for medical advice. In an emergency, call 999.
If you say 'I need help' or 'Emergency', AiLycia can immediately alert your designated emergency contacts. However, for life-threatening emergencies, you should always call 999 directly.
Only if you choose to share it. You have complete control over your privacy. You can add family members to your 'care circle' and choose exactly what information they can access, from nothing at all to daily wellness summaries.

AíNGEL is developed to NHS clinical safety standards (DCB0129 and DCB0160). We are working towards integration with NHS systems and partnerships with healthcare providers. Register for early access to stay updated on NHS partnerships.
AíNGEL requires an internet connection to function. If your internet goes down, AiLycia will not be available until it is restored. We recommend having a backup plan for emergencies, such as a mobile phone or personal alarm.
